નોર્વેમાં સમલૈંગિક લગ્ન

નોર્વેમાં સમલૈંગિક લગ્ન ૧ જાન્યુઆરી ૨૦૦૯ થી કાયદેસર બનાવવામાં આવ્યો છે. [૧] આ કાયદાને કારણે સમલૈંગિક યુગલોને બાળકોને દત્તક લેવા અને પ્રજનન સંબંધિત સારવાર મેળવવાનો અધિકાર પણ આપ્યો છે. [૨]યુરોપ અને વૈશ્વિક સ્તરે LGBTQ+ અધિકારો આપનાર, નોર્વે અગ્રણી દેશોમાંનો એક છે.[૩] સમલૈંગિક લગ્નને કાયદેસર બનાવતા પહેલા, નોર્વેએ ૧૯૯૩ માં સમલૈંગિક યુગલો માટે રજિસ્ટર્ડ ભાગીદારીને મંજૂરી આપી હતી, જેમાં લગ્ન જેવા જ ઘણા કાનૂની અધિકારો પૂરા પાડવામાં આવ્યા હતા પરંતુ તેમાં લગ્ન કરવાનો કે બાળકોને દત્તક લેવાનો અધિકાર શામેલ નહોતો.[૪] આજે, નોર્વેમાં સમલૈંગિક લગ્નને સમાનતા અને માનવ અધિકારો પ્રત્યે દેશની પ્રતિબદ્ધતાના પ્રતીક તરીકે ઉજવવામાં આવે છે.
