Activism

Exposing Corruption in Rural Schemes

Solanki has been at the forefront of exposing irregularities in MNREGA and other government welfare schemes. His work has raised awareness about rural governance failures and corruption in welfare implementation.[4]

Legal Challenges

In 2019, after exposing MNREGA-related corruption, Solanki was served a defamation notice by Gujarat Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker and Shehra MLA Jethabhai Bharwad. He issued a strong factual reply, defending his position and strengthening his credibility as an anti-corruption crusader.[5]

Protest Against Mining & Land Corruption

Solanki also protested against corruption in granting granite mining leases, often controlled by land mafias. To demand transparency, he sat on an indefinite hunger strike (Amarnath Upvaas) at Swarnim Sankul, Gandhinagar. This protest highlighted collusion between officials and vested interests in land and mineral exploitation.[6][7]

Surviving Political Attacks

Solanki has survived a violent group assault fueled by political rivalry. Showing courage, he filed a complaint at Shehra Police Station, leading to a registered case against the anti-social elements involved.[8]

Housing Rights

He has led protests against the demolition of homes belonging to economically weaker families, positioning himself as a strong and fearless voice for housing rights and social justice.[9]
