૧૯૯૮ વાંધામા ગંડરબાલ હત્યાકાંડ ૨૫ જાન્યુઆરી ૧૯૯૮ના રોજ જમ્મુ-કાશ્મીરમાં થયેલી ૨૩ કાશ્મીરી હિંદુઓનો હત્યાકાંડ હતો.^[૧]^[૨] તેમાં ચાર બાળકો, નવ મહિલાઓ અને ૧૦ પુરુષોની હત્યા કરવામાં આવી હતી.^[૩] ^[૪] લશ્કર-એ-તોયબા આંતકવાદી સંગઠનને આ હત્યાકાંડ માટે દોષી ઠેરવવામાં આવ્યું હતું.^[૫]

વાંધામા ભારતના કેન્દ્ર શાસિત પ્રદેશ જમ્મુ અને કાશ્મીરમાં ગંદેરબાલ નજીક આવેલું નાનું ગામ છે. આંતકવાદીઓ વડે યોજનાપૂર્વક કાશ્મીરી હિંદુઓની હત્યાઓ અને તેમની વિરુદ્ધ ધાકધમકીનું અભિયાન ચલાવાતા તેમનામાંથી મોટાભાગના લોકો જમ્મુ વિસ્તાર તરફ સ્થાયી થયા હતા.^[૬] ^[૭] ^[૮]
