જૈન સાધુ

શ્રમણ નો અર્થ છે "જે કામ કરે છે, મજૂરી કરે છે, અથવા પોતાને (કેટલાક ઉચ્ચ અથવા ધાર્મિક હેતુ માટે) ઉપયોગ કરે છે" [૧] [૨] અથવા "શોધક, જે તીવ્રતા થી ક્રિયા કરે છે, સન્યાસી છે".
