મોરડ, લાણો અથવા લૂણો મોટેભાગે ખારી જમીનમાં ઉગતી એક વનસ્પતિનું નામ છે[૧] [૨]. એનું વૈજ્ઞાનિક નામ સૌએડા મેરીટીમા છે[૩]. એના પાનમાં પાણીનો ખુબ સંગ્રહ થતો હોવાથી મીઠા પાણીની અછતવાળા ખારા પ્રદેશોમાં ઘણા માણસો પાણી હાથવગું ન હોય ત્યારે એના પાન ખાઇને તરસ છીપાવે છે. સૌટાષ્ટ્રમાં જોવા મળતી જત નામની વિચરતી જનજાતીના લોકો આ વનસ્પતિના પાનનો શાક બનાવવામાં ઉપયોગ કરે છે. આ વનસ્પતિ ઉંચાઇમાં વધુમાં વધુ ૩૫ સે.મી. ઉચી થાય છે[૩].
