રિચા ચઢ્ઢા (જન્મ: ૧૮ ડિસેમ્બર ૧૯૮૬) એ ભારતીય અભિનેત્રી છે. તેણીએ ઓયે લક્કી! ઓયે લક્કી! (૨૦૦૮) ફિલ્મથી બોલીવુડ કારકિર્દીનો પ્રારંભ કર્યો હતો. ૨૦૧૦માં ગેંગ્સ ઓફ વાસેપુર ભાગ ૧ અને ભાગ ૨ માં તેણીનો અભિનય વખણાયો હતો અને તે માટે તેણીને શ્રેષ્ઠ અભિનેત્રી માટે ફિલ્મફેર વિવેચક પુરસ્કાર એનાયત થયો હતો.[૧]
પ્રારંભિક જીવન
[ફેરફાર કરો]રિચાનો જન્મ ૧૯૮૭માં થયો હતો અને ઉછેર દિલ્હી, ભારતમાં થયો. રિચાના પિતા પંજાબી હિંદુ અને માતા બિહારી છે.[૨][૩] તેના પિતા વ્યવસ્થાપન પેઢી ધરાવે છે જ્યારે માતા દિલ્હી યુનિવર્સિટીની PGDAV કોલેજમાં પ્રાધ્યાપક છે અને તેમણે બે પુસ્તકો લખવાની સાથે ગાંધી સ્મૃતિ સાથે કાર્ય કર્યું છે.[૪][૫] ૨૦૦૨માં સરદાર પટેલ વિદ્યાલયમાંથી શાળાકીય શિક્ષણ પૂર્ણ કર્યા બાદ તેણીએ સેંટ સ્ટિફન કોલેજમાંથી સ્નાતકની ઉપાધિ મેળવી. ત્યારબાદ તેણીએ મુંબઈની સોફિયા કોલેજમાંથી સોશિયલ કોમ્યુનિકેશન મિડિઆમાં અનુસ્નાતક ડિપ્લોમાનો અભ્યાસ કર્યો.
કારકિર્દી
[ફેરફાર કરો]રિચાએ પોતાની કારકિર્દીનો પ્રારંભ મોડેલ તરીકે કર્યો અને પછીથી તે નાટ્યમંચ તરફ વળી. તેણીએ ભારત અને પાકિસ્તાનમાં પ્રવાસો કરીને નાટકોમાં ભાગ ભજવ્યો. પછીથી, તેણીએ બેરી જ્હોન હેઠળ તાલીમ મેળવી.[૬][૭]
બોલીવુડ કારકિર્દી

રિચાએ સહાયક અભિનેત્રી તરીકે દિબાકર બેનર્જીની ૨૦૦૮ની ફિલ્મ ઓયે લક્કી! લક્કી ઓયે! માં અભિનય કર્યો.[૮] ૨૦૧૦માં તેણી રમુજી ફિલ્મ બેન્ની એન્ડ બલ્લૂ માં ફેડોરા પાત્રમાં અભિનેત્રી તરીકે આવી.[૯][૧૦]
૨૦૧૨માં, અનુરાગ કશ્યપની ફિલ્મ ગેંગ્સ ઓફ વાસેપુર - ભાગ ૧ માં તેણીએ મુખ્ય અભિનય ભજવ્યો. આ ફિલ્મે તેણીને નવી ૧૧ ફિલ્મોનો પ્રસ્તાવ મળવામાં મદદ કરી.[૧૧] રિચાએ આ ફિલ્મમાં નગમા ખાતૂનની ભૂમિકા ભજવી. આ ફિલ્મને ૬૫માં કેન્સ ફિલ્મ ફેસ્ટિવલમાં રજૂ કરવામાં આવી હતી અને વિવેચકો દ્વારા ખૂબ જ વખણાયી હતી.[૧૨][૧૩] ગેંગ્સ ઓફ વાસેપુર - ભાગ ૨ માં પણ તેણીએ નગમાનું પાત્ર ભજવ્યું. આ ફિલ્મના અભિનયને પણ વિવેચકોએ વખાણ્યો.[૧૪][૧૫] રિચાને શ્રેષ્ઠ સહાયક અભિનેત્રી માટે ફિલ્મફેર પુરસ્કારનું નામાંકન મળ્યું[૧૬] અને શ્રેષ્ઠ અભિનેત્રી માટે ફિલ્મફેર વિવેચક પુરસ્કાર મળ્યો.[૧૭]
૨૦૧૨માં મૃગદીપ સિંહ લાંબા દ્વારા દિગ્દર્ષિત ફિલ્મ ફુર્કી માં રિચાએ અભિનય કર્યો જેમાં તેણે સ્ત્રી ડોન ભોલી પંજાબણનું પાત્ર ભજવ્યું. ત્યારબાદ તેણીએ અનુરાગ કશ્યપની ફિલ્મ શોર્ટનાં એક ભાગમાં ભૂમિકા ભજવી.[૧૮] અહીં તેણીની ભૂમિકાને મિશ્ર પ્રતિસાદ સાંપડ્યો.[૧૯] ત્યારબાદ રિચાએ સંજય લીલા ભણશાળીની ફિલ્મ ગોલીયોં કી રાસલીલા રામ-લીલામાં રસિલાની ભૂમિકા ભજવી જે રોમિયો અને જૂલિએટ પર આધારિત હતી.[૨૦][૨૧] આ પાત્ર માટે શ્રેષ્ઠ સહાયક અભિનેત્રી માટે તેણીએ આઇફા પુરસ્કારમાં નામાંકન મળ્યું.
૨૦૧૪માં રિચાએ નવનીત બહેલ દ્વારા દિગ્દર્શિત તમંચે ફિલ્મમાં બાબુ નામનું અપરાધી પાત્ર ભજવ્યું. આ પાત્ર માટે રિચાની અગાઉ ફિલ્મો કરતાં મિશ્ર પ્રતિભાવો સાંપડ્યા.[૨૨] જોકે અમુક પ્રતિભાવોમાં અભિનયને વખાણવામાં આવ્યો.[૨૩] મીરા નાયરની મેક્સિકન-અમેરિકન ફિલ્મ વર્ડ્સ વિથ ગોડ્સમાં રિચાએ અભિનય આપ્યો. આ ફિલ્મ ૯ અલગ-અલગ દિગ્દર્શકો દ્વારા બનાવવામાં આવી હતી.[૨૪][૨૫] રિચાએ ગોડ રૂમ નામનાં ભાગમાં આ ફિલ્મમાં અભિનય આપ્યો. ૭૧માં વેનિસ આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય ફિલ્મ ફેસ્ટિવલની સ્પર્ધામાં આ ફિલ્મ બનાવવામાં આવી હતી.[૨૬]
સૈબલ ચેટર્જીની મસાણ (૨૦૧૫)માં રિચાએ દેવી પાઠકનું પાત્ર ભજવ્યું છે. જે માટે તેની ઘણી પ્રશંસા કરાઇ છે.[૨૭][૨૮][૨૯] રિચા મેં ઔર ચાર્લ્સ, જે ચાર્લ્સ શોભરાજ પર આધારિત છે, ફિલ્મમાં અભિનય કરી રહી છે.[૩૦] રિચા હાલમાં ઔર દેવદાસ નામની ફિલ્મમાં અભિનય કરી રહી છે જ્યાં તે પારોનું પાત્ર ભજવે છે[૩૧] અને પૂજા ભટ્ટની કેબ્રેમાં મુખ્ય અભિનય કરી રહી છે.[૩૨]

[ફેરફાર કરો]૨૦૧૪માં રિચાએ પિટા સંસ્થા માટે જાહેરાતમાં કામ કર્યું હતું અને લોકોને માંસાહારથી દૂર રહેવાની અને શાકાહાર તરફ વળવાના અભિયાનમાં ફાળો આપ્યો હતો.[૩૩] તે જ વર્ષમાં તેણીએ લેકમે ફેશન વીકમાં ભાગ લીધો હતો[૩૪] અને ટ્રાયવલ ડિઝાસ્ટર નામના નાટકમાં અભિનય આપ્યો.[૩૫] પીટાના અભિયાનમાં ભાગ લઇને શાકાહારી બનવાના અભિયાનમાં જોડાવા છતાં તેણીએ મહારાષ્ટ્ર સરકારના ગૌમાંસ પરના પ્રતિબંધને વખોડી કાઢ્યો હતો.[૩૬]
તેણીએ મિનિટ મેઇડ, ટાટા સ્કાય, આર્ચીસ ગેલેરી અને કેડબરી ડેરી ચોકલેટ વગેરે જાહેરાતોમાં કાર્ય કર્યું છે.[૩૭]
