સિલિકૉન વૅલી
સિલિકૉન વેલી એ અમેરીકાના ઉત્તર કેલિફોર્નિયા રાજ્યના સાન ફ્રાન્સિસ્કો નજીકના દરીયા કાંઠે આવેલ એક વિસ્તાર છે. આ વિસ્તારમાં સિલિકૉન ચિપ્સના સંશોધન તેમ જ ઉત્પાદનનું કાર્ય મોટા પ્રમાણમાં ચાલતું હોવાને કારણે સિલિકૉન વૅલી તરીકે ઓળખાય છે. જો કે વર્તમાન સમયમાં આ વિસ્તાર ઉચ્ચસ્તરીય અદ્યતન ટેકનોલોજી માટે વિશ્વભરમાં જાણીતો બન્યો છે.
