સોનાક્ષી સિંહા[૧][૨] ભારતીય અભિનેત્રી અને મૉડેલ છે. તેણી ભારતીય ફિલ્મ અભિનેતા અને રાજકારણી શત્રુઘન સિંહાની પુત્રી છે.

સોનાક્ષી સિંહાએ તેની કારકિર્દી લૅકમે ફૅશન વીક ૨૦૦૮ દરમિયાન રૅમ્પ પર ચાલીને મૉડેલ તરીકે શરૂ કરી હતી[૩] અને ત્યાર બાદ ફરીથી ફૅશન વીક ૨૦૦૯માં પણ આવી હતી.[૩] તેણીએ તેની અભિનય કારકીર્દિની શરૂઆત સલમાન ખાન સાથે દબંગ ફિલ્મથી કરી હતી.[૪] દબંગ ફિલ્મ એ બૉલિવૂડની સૌથી વધુ કમાણી કરનાર ફિલ્મોમાં સ્થાન પામે છે.[૫]

સોનાક્ષી સિંહાનો જન્મ મુંબઇનાં શ્રીવાસ્તવ (કાયસ્થ) પરિવારમાં થયો હતો. તેણી અભિનેતા અને રાજકારણી એવાં શત્રુઘન સિંહા અને પૂનમ સિંહાની પુત્રી છે.[૬] તેણીને બે ભાઈ નામે લવ સિંહા અને કુશ સિંહા છે.
