ગરવી ગુજરાત ભવન નવી દિલ્હીના અકબર રોડ ઉપર ૭૦૬૬ ચોરસ મીટર પ્લોટ પર બનાવવામાં આવ્યું છે.[૧] રાજધાનીમાં આ "પ્રથમ ઇકોફ્રેન્ડલી" રાજ્ય ભવન છે.[૨] ગુજરાતના મુખ્ય પ્રધાન વિજય રૂપાણી અને નાયબ મુખ્યમંત્રી નીતિનભાઇ પટેલની સાથે ભારતના ૧૪મા વડા પ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદી દ્વારા ગરવી ગુજરાત ભવનનું ઉદ્ઘાટન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.[૩][૪]
મકાન
[ફેરફાર કરો]ધૌલપુર અને આગ્રા પત્થરોનો ઉપયોગ કરીને નવું ગુજરાત ભવન બનાવવામાં આવ્યું છે.[૩] જુનું ગુજરાત ભવન કૌટિલ્ય માર્ગ પર ૧૪૧૮ ચોરસ મીટરના પ્લોટ પર સ્થિત છે. [૫] આ રચના ૭૦૬૬ ચોરસ મીટર [૬] ના ક્ષેત્રમાં ફેલાયેલી છે અને આ સંકુલની કુલ કિંમત રૂ. ૧૩૧ કરોડ છે.[૭][૮] ગુજરાત ભવનમાં લગભગ ૭૮ અલગ અલગ વિષયઆધારિત ઓરડાઓ છે, જે સાત માળમાં વહેંચાયેલા છે, જેમાં ૨ સ્યુટ, ૧૭ વીઆઈપી સ્યુટ અને મહેમાન કક્ષો છે.[૯]
