નારાયણ જોષી કારાયલ
નારાયણ જોષી 'કારાયલ' ગુજરાતી અને કચ્છી ભાષાના લેખક અને વાર્તા લેખક છે.[૧] ભારત સરકાર દ્વારા તેમને પદ્મશ્રી પુરસ્કાર આપવામાં આવ્યો હતો.

[ફેરફાર કરો]જોશીએ ૧૯૯૯માં કચ્છી સાહિત્ય કલા સંઘની સ્થાપના કરી હતી, જે કચ્છીની જાણકારી નથી તેવા લોકોને કચ્છીની મૂળ બાબતો શીખવવાનું કામ કરે છે.[૨] તેમણે કચ્છી પાઠાવલીને બે ભાગમાં લખી છે, જેને ગુજરાત શૈક્ષણિક સંશોધન અને તાલીમ પરિષદે કચ્છી શીખવા માટે પ્રમાણિત કરી છે.
સન્માન
[ફેરફાર કરો]જોશીને ૨૦૨૦માં સાહિત્ય અને શિક્ષણ ક્ષેત્રે તેમની સેવાઓ બદલ ભારતનો ચોથો સર્વોત્તમ નાગરિક એવોર્ડ એવો પદ્મશ્રીથી નવાજવામાં આવ્યા હતા.[૩][૪][૫][૬]
